New Field and Tracking Leads

They are a vynal coating webbing they are extremly durable I have some that are 5 years old. The work great for a field check cord, tracking lead and obedince. The float on the water and don’t absorbe water like other leads. They rol up very neatly and are easy to clean. They can be made in any length 2.45 per foot. We recommend 15ft. For field work and an eight for obedience we can accept visa or master card.

I would like to say ‘Thank You’ to everyone who assisted with or participated in the fundraiser. Your help and support was incredible and much appreciated. A Huge thanks goes out to Clients, Friends and Family for attending the dinner and participating in the auction as well as donating money and auction items. Thanks also to those of you who helped by acknowledging the situation, passing on the information to others, and even providing an auctioneer for the event. Last but not least, a ‘big thanks’ to those who came out on Saturday, helping with the preparations.

The target goal was set at 7-8 thousand dollars. The net for the evening was $ 6,875.00.

There has also been positive response from folks who were unable to attend the event on the evening indicating a possible increase in the number I have right now. I’ll be following up as we move forward with the results.

A common mistake made with pups in regards to retrieving is the handler is always in a hurry to take the object. If a pup is good at carrying a variety of toys around the house or yard let them, praise them and pet them beore you take it. This pays off in the field.If they will follow you down and up steps as an example then let them.

A-Know the pups learning curve of where the drive turns to distractibility and stop.

B-Keep the training toys picked up other than when you train.

C-If there is uncertianty, put the toy on a long string and tease the pup until they get it and want to keep it. If they drop it be ready to grab the string and make it move again.

D- You may need a check cord for when the pup is close but wants to be playful.

E- If the pup is eager to retrieve throw the toy into light cover and repeat the same retrieves in the same area to help them learn to use their nose and to hunt thru old scent.
